Armando Mora has lived in the Bay Area for over 45 years. He is a Mexican descendant and a second-generation cemeterian who has been with Cypress Lawn since 1988.

Armando was the company’s first ICCFA University graduate (International Cemetery, Cremation, and Funeral Association). He began his career in cemetery service as a grounds crew employee, then served as the backup crematory operator. He worked on the skylight restoration crew, then became foreman, and now serves as the Director of Cemetery Operations and Cemetery Manager.

He manages over 60 employees and maintains over 300 acres. Aside from having his cemetery manager license, he also holds a California Qualified Applicator Certificate.
