Cemetery Options to Consider

For well over a century, our staff at Cypress Lawn Funeral Home & Memorial Park has witnessed firsthand the extensive comfort families find in being about to have a permanent place they can to return to following the loss of a loved one.

They regard this as a special place to connect with their loved one — a sacred space where they can share a quiet moment in reflection or maybe even a smile as they remember a more lighthearted moment.

Choosing a final resting place for your loved one is one of the most important decisions you’ll make as you navigate this season of loss. We understand that this decision is not one that will be made lightly. We are experienced in helping families navigate the many factors they have to consider, including cultural, religious, and financial needs.

When it comes to celebrating your loved one’s life, the options at Cypress Lawn are limitless. And that makes sense because there is no one-size-fits-all approach to anything we do here.

Our staff will help families like yours find the best way to honor your loved one’s life. Cypress Lawn offers many in-ground burial options, including:

  • Single grave spaces
  • Double-depth lawn crypt spaces
  • Multiple space lots
  • Hedge estates
  • Private family plots

Garden Estates

If your loved one took great pride and joy in growing and cultivating their own flowers, a garden estate is a beautiful and unique way to pay tribute to a life well lived. You will be able to decide how you want this tribute to be arranged. We can also accommodate the option for multiple family members to be laid to rest together. Some families also add memorial plaques to further commemorate their family’s story.

Monuments and Memorials

Over the years, many families have found great comfort in visiting a special monument or memorial to their loved one. Our beautiful granite headstones will last a lifetime so that future generations can gather to remember those who have come before them. These days, there are so many ways to customize and personalize a permanent tribute, incorporating special words, symbols, and designs.

Mausoleums

Historically, mausoleums were used by the rich and famous, but today, this option is available to all families as another option to preserve the legacy of a loved one. Our Memorial Park has private and public mausoleums that offer climate-controlled environments where you can still visit your loved one’s final resting place, no matter what the weather is like outside. We also offer the ability to choose an outdoor mausoleum, such as our Magnolia Mausoleum, which features scenic views of mountains, open green spaces, and classic architecture.

Options for Cremation

For those who choose cremation, there are many permanent memorial options available, including glass-front niches within our columbariums. This gives families the ability to store their loved one’s urn within a weather-protected structure. The glass-front niche also gives families the opportunity to store and share important mementos with their loved one, such as a wedding invitation or a special card.

At Cypress Lawn, we understand just how important it is to make sure this decision is just right for your family. That’s why we offer the “no-risk niche” policy — giving families two years to decide if they’ve made the right choice. If a family changes their mind within this time period, we will work with them to transition their loved one’s urn elsewhere.

For those who enjoy special comfort and peace by enjoying the great outdoors, we also offer the ability to create a cremation bench. These special, customized benches can hold multiple urns and can be personalized with colors, names, Scriptures, quotes, and more.
