Advanced Planning Counselor
Job Description: Are you passionate about helping others? The Advanced Planning Counselor is one of the primary customer service representatives of the cemetery that functions as a liaison with the cemetery and the public. He/she is responsible for consulting with families; initiating and completing necessary documentation relating to final disposition of the deceased, securing sales for appropriate services and merchandise, and providing superior assistance to families. This is a full time commissioned position with high earnings potential. • Duties and Responsibilities: We are looking for an exceptionally good, professional, personable team player with human and compassionate qualities to receive bereaved families. This person will be responsible for meeting quality standards of service, immediate need and pre-need sales quotas, and maintaining high, professional standards of dress and conduct. Individuals who enjoy providing outstanding service can transform their skills into a unique, rewarding career opportunity. Requirements:
• Must possess excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy • Must be comfortable with person-to-person and telephone interactions as well as experience in a customer service environment • Must possess the ability to multi-task with a calm, professional presence • Must meet qualifications to obtain required licenses • Must have a valid drivers license and proof of insurance • May be required to stand for long periods of time • May be required to lift up to 20 pounds
• Minimum of 2 years Sales experience a plus • Bilingual a plus • Excellent computer skills
