Above-ground entombment was once the exclusive option of the privileged rich and famous. As early as 1910, Cypress Lawn recognized the value of above ground entombment and built its first classic and beautiful stained glass-domed community mausoleum which was named The Catacombs. Since then, the cemetery has expanded its choices into several public mausoleums that offer a wide selection of facilities at very reasonable prices. The Halls of Remembrance, Cypress Haven, Heritage Court, and Magnolia Mausoleum are just some of Cypress Lawn’s community mausoleums that offer families the advantage of above-ground burial with several options that include single, companion, tandem, couch, and quadruple crypts for families.
