On behalf of my family and my recently deceased mother . . . we would like to commend the outstanding support and detailed kindness of the entire staff of Cypress Lawn. Most especially, we would like to recognize Carol Bass, Herman Lopez and Clifford Yee for their collective efforts. Our memorial services from start to finish was executed perfectly with their thoughtful planning and genuine care and support. I am and will be forever be grateful to Cypress Lawn and have much comfort knowing my mother is at rest with her husband.

Dear Mr. Varner,
Now that activities connected with the death of my sister have diminished somewhat, I want to take the opportunity to thank you and your wonderful Cypress Lawn staff for the thoughtful and compassionate arrangements performed for her. Both the funeral and burial services were carefully executed with impeccable timing and performance. Amelia Barquez, Sandy Guest and Philip Johnson were outstanding in their areas of responsibility. I can only hope that future arrangements for other family members would be performed as well as the experience I encountered for Gloria. I will always be comforted by the dignified and respectful behavior of Cypress Lawn staff during a difficult period.

You were wonderful to us and everything about Cypress Lawn is tasteful and felt exactly right. Mom was quite the woman and I'm sure she was giving a thumbs-up to all the happenings. I'm sure she loved the rituals and festivities. She loved gatherings so much - and what a perfect reception room. I celebrate her life instead of thinking of her death. Special and heartfelt thanks for all your courtesies, patience and guidance in helping me handle my husband’s burial in an appropriate manner. I especially thank you for your thoughtful gesture of placing a flower in his grave as it was filled. It was a perfect thing to do and gave me and the others the chance to give a final gesture of goodbye to a loved one. My grief is softened by your thoughtful and caring words and deeds.
